This policy explains how Avarien.app processes personal data through the website, mobile application and partner registration form. This text is provided for information and should be reviewed against the specific legal entity operating the service.
The personal data controller is Avarien.app, the service for finding and choosing roadside assistance in Bulgaria. For questions about personal data, please use the contact details published on the website or in the mobile application.
Depending on how you use Avarien, we may process the following categories of data:
We use the data for the following purposes:
Processing is carried out on one or more of the following grounds: performance of a service or steps taken before entering into a contract; legitimate interests in the security, maintenance and development of the service; consent when the application requests location access or other permissions; and compliance with a legal obligation where applicable.
The mobile application may request access to your location to find suitable nearby roadside assistance companies and share the request location with the selected team. You can manage location permissions in your phone settings. If you restrict location access, some features may not work correctly.
When you submit a request and select a partner, we share the data required to provide the service: contact details, location, type of assistance and vehicle data. We may use providers of technical infrastructure, hosting, email, analytics, maps, notifications or support, which process data only as necessary to provide the service.
We do not sell personal data.
The website may process standard technical data required for loading, security and diagnostics, such as IP address, browser, page and request time. The website currently does not use marketing cookies. If analytics or advertising cookies are added in the future, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested where required by law.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including request processing, support, dispute resolution, accounting or legal obligations. Partner registration data may be retained during review and follow-up communication and, if approved, for the duration of the partnership.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Access is granted only when required to operate or support the service or to meet a legal requirement.
Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to information, access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
Avarien is not directed at children. If we learn that a child’s personal data has been provided without the required legal basis or consent, we will take steps to restrict or delete that data.
We may update this policy when the service, application, website or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
